Anyone remember the movie Chronicle? Random question, I know. I recently re-watched it with my family and had a good time. Chronicle was ahead of the game in a few ways. My favorite moments were definitely the TikTok-style shorter scenes, featuring the lead characters screwing around with their new powers. Josh Trank may have fallen on hard times with Fant4stik but his work on Chronicle proves he has what it takes to craft an interesting, unique film. The found-footage style was a bit much at times however the atmosphere it provide absolutely worked. We could use more creative superhero films like this!
